Institute for Social Good

The Institute for Social Good offers innovative tools and programs to help nonprofits use the digital space to succeed.

We work to:

  • Speed the process or velocity of programs that address big issues: Hunger, economic disparity, education, energy, transportation and the environment.
  • Reduce the time from identification of a goal to completion of a project. This increases an organization's ability to capitalize on successes and focus resources on programs that work.

Initiatives

The Institute offers innovative programs – Hackathons for Social Good and Velocity Workshops and Trainings.

We are currently developing the Platform for Good, an online tool for nonprofits to use communities of designers, developers and strategists to develop online and offline projects to achieve results.

It seemed kind of crazy that a team could develop a website in a day, but they did it! The Hackathon brought together an incredibly talented group of professionals that together had all the skills needed to develop our new site.
